About the Role
Working within a manufacturing environment, your duties will include:
Handling stone products at the end of the fixed plant production line
Unloading stone and stacking products onto pallets
Loading stone into a shot blaster machine
Using vacuum lifting equipment and manual handling techniques
Lifting stone products weighing between 5kg and 80kg
Wrapping completed pallets using a pallet wrapping machine
Occasionally manually wrapping pallets when required
Cleaning machinery using high-pressure water equipment
General housekeeping and maintaining a clean work area
Assisting with mixer cleans at the end of production (rotated amongst operators)
Operating a forklift to move completed pallets (where licensed)
About You
To be successful, you will have:
A strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to perform physically demanding work
Comfortable working in a dusty and noisy environment
Commitment to workplace safety and housekeeping
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills
Desire to grow and develop within a manufacturing environment
Desirable (but not essential)
LF Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
Fixed plant or manufacturing experience
Confined Space Ticket
Previous machine operating experience
Required PPE
Hi-Vis shirt or vest
Long work pants
Steel capped boots
